Paradox Event Participation
At Paradox Interactive, we are committed to providing a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment for all our event participants. Whether you’re an attendee or staff member, we have a shared responsibility to make everyone feel welcome and safe.

Each participant agrees to follow the rules herein and understands that Paradox Interactive staff can refuse the participant entry to the event or remove the participant without liability for any reason at Paradox Interactive’s sole discretion.
Identity of the participant
To ensure the safety of all participants at the event, prevent unauthorized people from gaining access to the event, and ensure Paradox’s compliance with relevant laws, all attendees must be prepared to present valid identification (such as an ID card, driver's license, or passport) to verify their identity at the event.
We only collect, use, store and transfer ("process") your personal information in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including but not limited to the (EU) General Data Protection Regulation (2016/679) ("GDPR") and applicable national data protection legislation. Code of Conduct during the Event
The following behaviors are unacceptable and will not be tolerated during the event:
Harassment: Any form of harassment, including (but not limited to):
Verbal comments that reinforce social structures of domination related to race, religion, gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, or age.
Sexual images or language in public spaces.
Intimidation, stalking, or following.
Harassing photography or recording.
Sustained disruption of talks or other events.
Inappropriate physical contact or unwelcome sexual attention.
Advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behavior.
Hate Speech and Symbols: Public display of imagery, clothing, or symbols associated with hate speech and racism, including those illegal under Swedish law (e.g., swastikas, SS symbols).
Disruptive Behavior: Any behavior that disrupts the event or creates a hostile or unwelcoming environment for others.
Illegal Activities: Consumption of illegal drugs or any activity that violates Swedish law.
Cosplay and Props
Prop weapons and replica guns are not allowed to ensure the safety and comfort of all attendees.
Recording
To ensure the privacy and integrity of attendees and staff members, recording, taping, or photographing is not permitted during the event.
At the Event, Paradox might have a photographer taking pictures/videos. If you don’t want your picture taken, please let the photographer know. If you want to be cropped out or removed from a picture/video, inform us at events@paradoxinteractive.com.
Interviews
The event provides a casual and social setting for our game teams and players to interact. Due to the nature of the event, we're unable to arrange individual interviews with Paradox Interactive staff.
Food
Since some events include food/snacks, we collect information about any allergy or food preferences you might have. Paradox will dispose of this information after the Event. Paradox does share your data with venue, to the extent necessary to process your data for the mentioned purpose.
Alcohol
Alcohol may only be consumed at the event by those of legal age. All participants are expected and encouraged to consume alcohol responsibly.
By attending the event, the participant agrees that Paradox Interactive isn’t responsible for any injuries, damages, or issues that may come up due to participant’s alcohol consumption before, during, or after the event. The participant also agrees to cover any costs, including legal fees, if anything happens as a result.
Reporting Concerns
If you experience or witness any unacceptable behavior during the event, please report it to a Paradox Interactive staff member.
